We first met ten years ago in the most ordinary of places: the checkout line at Dollar General. I noticed a handsome man behind me and asked if he had change—he did, and then asked for my number. Of course I gave it. Over the next decade we built a life together, shared laughter and steady support, and grew more certain with each passing year that we wanted to spend forever side by side. Now, on August 15, 2026, we’re celebrating our wedding in Champaign, Illinois — and we can’t wait to mark this next chapter with the people we love.
